A thrilling but sobering 3 day experience courtesy of the USAF reserves.
While flying on this KC 135 from March ARB to Wright Patterson AFB, I tried to imagine what it might be like for those men and women who made the trip to Iraq and Afghanistan, giving up the comforts of home, and risking all to defend our freedom !
Although I have attending many airshows, it was an entirely different experience to be on these aircraft and picturing what it might be like for those who are actually in the fight !
A real lesson of appreciation for how we are able to live and enjoy our many freedoms !
