@RelaxItsJustAFlare well I give you that. I won't deny the fact that you have a longer battlefield in the Premiership than in the Portuguese first league. And looking back to my post comment, I have to be fair and reckon that my Porto couldn't have done what was accomplished in the Premier or La Liga, e.g.

@paperhills I think it's not necessarily just the standard of the Premiership teams but the physical toll that playing a season of English football has on the squad.
