Electric 86101 sparking under frosty wires at speed

This clip shows electric loco number 86101 speeding along under frosty overhead wires at Newton Road Crossing on Saturday October 20th 2007, with the pantograph merrily crackling and sparkling away.
The working was charter train 1Z86 Crewe - Euston.

Also seen on the same morning was a DRS Class 66 with an up liner,, and 90042 shows what happens to an unsecured camera as she passes with 4L97 Trafford Park -Felixstowe.

Finally a smoky 66210 approaches Bescot with 6S55 Burngullow - Irvine silver bullets and Imery's china clay slurry tanks.

Superb set of vids mate, the crackling 86 was ace and you even got some quacking ducks on the China Clay vid. Just out of interest, I think the CARGOWAGGON on the back would contain bagged china clay en route to Stoke.
