@fleur8821 - hi there. I had a great time at this hotel. It's central, near Penn Station (you can see it out the window under Madison Square Garden) and is a really nice and quiet hotel. Tripadvisor has independant reviews. I stayed 9 nights and paid £1300 including flights for the whole trip. So, the hotel worked out at about £100 per night. Single travellers stay in Metro rooms.. I read that these mostly look out onto the back of the hotel i.e. no scenic views, or worse still, a view of a wall

@Daveyengland Yeah NY is never boring even if you go alone, I'm planing to go next spring and staying in the new yorker, did you have a good experience there?
