  • Crocodilians are more closly related to birds and mammals then other reptiles, hence why they care so much more for their offspring then other reptiles. Also they have a four chambered heart, and a brain with a cerebral cortex like birds and mammals, but unlike other reptiles, and a semi-erect hip posture, as opposed to the horizontal hip posture, of other reptiles, and vertical hip posture of birds and mammals. That said they are more closly related to birds and dinosaurs then mammals.

  • Aaawww. Crocodiles are so sweet and maternal.

    ^.^

  • @mosura12 Because she rolled them into the water in order to hatch.

  • crocodiles are the only reptiles that practice this level of parental care, because crocodiles are more closely related to birds and mammals then to other reptiles.

  • @jharrison277 .....I know dimwit -.-" but crocs dun lay the eggs in the water...And someone already answered my question....So seriously.....Dont start to piss me off..

  • @mosura12

crocs live in water...what kind of genius question is that?

  • @mosura12 I think it's because the mother carries the babies to the water, she probably took it while it was still both inside and outside of the egg.

  • its cord was still there
