So the rooster says to the chickens "Watch this, I've got these humans trained. I jump up on this branch to make them do that thing with their hand, then I demand food with a simple 'crow' and they obey immediately. These humans are quite easy to train."
Good Video

Now, if you could train them not to crow, then you would make a fortune! :)

@MrDragonneo With roosters it is pretty easy to predict when they will crow as they do some specific movement with their head and neck.

@MrDragonneo Great question! Once the bird gets reinforced enough for doing the action, he will start offering the behavior frequently. You then attempt to predict when he is about to offer it and insert the cue just prior to the behavior being presented. This allows you to reinforce cue followed by the desired action. You then stop reinforcing for the bird just offering and only reinforce when cued. .......
Lmfao!! Fake the rooster is just crowing but not on cue. The person making that hand movement is constantly moving his hand until the rooster crows naturally.. He took so many videos that most of them failed I bet and found the ones that looked like it's true on YouTube for everyone to look at and get tricked just for Fame

@QaibHmong Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share that this is 100% real : ) I was there when we initially trained the behavior (as I was the training consultant) and I was there to film these clips. Rooster can learn very fast and this guy was no exception. He crows on cue regularly for school groups.
