i got lost through these roads when i tried to get to mckeesport from ccac allegheny campus, i ended up on mckees rocks bridge, through fort pitt and liberty tunnels, and then on to 51 south.

The Parkway West is usually backed up from Greentree to the tunnels during and even off peak rush hour times. Because of the many downhill slopes and turns people slow down ALOT.

it looks a heck of alot better without all that construction near the I-79 interchange but now they are redoing the 22-30 one... ahhh pendot!
You should definitely re-shoot in HD even though I see that view quite often :D

@Freewayjosh1 With the exception of Parkway North (I-279 North of the city) everything is 45-55 years old but I find them highly interesting, just so long as traffic is moving.

I 279 from the Fort Pitt Bridge to I79 is now I376. They just changed it a couple of months ago because they're adding a bypass from near the airport out to Monroeville. I guess they're going to make a few more changes in the future with the route numbers whenever that bypass is completed. So, I 376 now goes from the PA turnpike to I79. It used to end at the Fort Pitt Bridge.

I had heard that was going to happen, good to know, thanks.
I love visiting Pittsburgh and would like to get back up there with my HD camera someday and re-shoot everything.
