Another great game, with a lame ending.

The trick to kill the wizard in the end is to save at least 3 "magic zappers", and use them when he became mad.

Sword of Sodan was released in 1988. The graphics were eye popping back then. Go to Moby Games and look up other games released in 1988 for home gaming systems or computers. The Amiga 500 was and still is the best computer ever made. It was truly a magical experience. Anyone who owned one knows exactly what I mean. Shadow of the Beast anyone?

Agree with you blur35mm. Amiga was the best personal computer in back then. The graphics and sound were awesome plus multitask that IBM, MAC, and ATARI ST couldn't do.

That's a pretty amazing photo-realistic scene @16:45 for 1988-1989 standards! No wonder the AMIGa was considered a graphical power-house back in the day. I wonder if this game uses 32 colours, or full 64 EHB (Half-bright) that the OCS/ECS chipset was capable of?!

Yeah! it's obviously better then the genesis version I can see that, but the Gameplay still looks Slow & boring.
