I got my turbo hopper for Christmas in 87. I got the regular double A model. It was also my all time favorite R/C car ever. Durable and fast and survived when a VW bug ran it over. I miss that car.

@GeorgeDoucette3 shit are you kidding? Your not going to find a RC car as fast, strong, and durable as these unless you go to a hobby shop and spend a TON of money on building a custom setup.

@reggaecracker I highly doubt it because most are proprietary parts and you usually have to replace the whole axle.

Great footage, matt! I remember when every kid on the block had one of these. Mine was the aero turbo hopper. Those were so bad ass back then! = ) Maybe I'll have a look for one.

Yeah they are awesome. I checked out your channel and I must say I love it. 80s was the best decade ever and seems like people are just copying everything today from the 80s. Back to the future will never get old to me if I live to be a 100.
