It technically makes sense to rename the princess and servant - their names were never given in the original songs. The Vocaloids were just the actors.

@TwilightZephyre not exactly, they never said that, they just show us the vocaloids to say that they have reincarnated, but they could show the characters in a different way and still the same; actually I watched a PV where Rin and Len woke up at the end in something like Kokoro

@AsterSelene it's part of the clockwork series, but it's also part of aku series (or that's what I read); but even if it's not, it explains very well what happened with the servant, in this case len... anyway, is one of my fav songs ho ho ho XD

@TwilightZephyre Nope, not true. Never said officially in the lyrics (read them; it talks ONLY about rebirth and rebirth ONLY - nothing about Vocaloids). Also, there's even question whether Re_birthday is even part of the series at all - check the Wikia page.
