I felt it was rude that she cut her off mid-sentence with a sniff of indifference. They asked her a questions and she was answering it; let her finish.

she meant "show" in the old-fashioned sense. she followed it up with a question about "a single man," not "the view." she meant "movie." that's not rude. it's what she came on the show to talk about.
