Shots of Whiskey River 16" gauge railroad in 1991 when they operated steam trains in the winter. Don at the throttle of the "Acorn", Hermann on the "Gracey" and Rich on the "Daylight" with Darrell taking her on a couple of trips over some slick track.

Definitely one of the best live steam operations I have been to. Love the shots as it's getting dark! All that's missing is the Michael Gross voiceover when the diesel hit the snowman. :D

Do you have footage from 1992-95? That is when my family and I went here a few times to ride the train.

thanks for the trip down memory lane. i live near marshall and our family would go get our xmas tree every year here for over a decade. was very fun as i was a boy back then... but still fun as an adult, too! the place sure has changed since 1991, though. it was nice to see it without all the many ridess that exist now.
