Homemade Rabbit Hutch

cost was around $200-250. bought all the lumber at home depot and the wire from tractor supply. the 2x2 yellow pine cost under $2 for one 8 footer, and the wire was $30 and came in a 24 inch by 25 foot roll and has 1x2 inch holes. you will need a sheet of half inch plywood for the roof and 2nd floor and some type of siding, mine is wood. i also put shingles on the top roof and bought them individually from home depot for a few dollars each. tools needed are a nail and staple gun, a miter saw(works better than a skill saw), wire cutters, hammer, jig saw, and a drill. if you have any questions feel free to message me. i would appreciate any comments or suggestions. thanks.

you should get her a friend for that big hutch, the hutch i made is almost like that and i have 2 rabbits

@lolgirlz57 well she may not need it but last year here in Oklahoma it was -5 with -30 degree wind chill. it made us feel a little better knowing she could get heat if she needed it. we don't force her to stay under it but she does anyways and seems to like it. it's called going the extra mile and doing a little more, kinda like spell check.
