@HamiltonRPResident Yea it is man he is using a pptp connection and that doesnt encrypt but its still a vpn because it connects two networks over the internet that is really what a vpn does the other shit is side affects from it

LoL dude.. this isnt a VPN.. A VPN is supposed to encrypt data and change your IP..you have just used your own IP so its no where near a VPN connection.

Its secured , a normal user doesnt need that but if a company has branches in different locations they can use this and it will be the same as if they are all in one place , its name explains it , google what VPN stands for and you'll understand

@zchhdsll its PPTP service not server , you create it from your router in the "portforwarding" when you add a new port the router will allow you to chose between different services and PPTP is one of them .

he is using Virtual Machine , you can see him switching between Sever and Client , so his Server and Client are installed on the same PC and that's the reason why he is using his localhost IP address , hope i made it clear
