  • Ok, so explain to me as a "training concept", why you would employ useless movements in your drills. This is wasted time, wasted energy. If you are going to add movement to a person while they engage a target, why not make it the type of movement that one would hope they use in a gunfight? Like moving toward the target, cover, etc. while drawing their weapon and putting lethal rounds on target. Time is money, and if I am paying you to teach me, I wouldn't waste my time on useless junk like this.

  • That's a question for azqkr I suppose. However, as a student of the class, I felt that I left with some extremely valuable tools in my "chest." The amount of time we spent discovering and practicing our point-shooting skills left little time to train in tactical movements. The idea was to learn how to get effective rounds on target as fast as possible, while in motion. The type of motion used would be another valuable lesson, agreed. However, that does not detract from the skills gained.

  • I never laughed so hard before seeing this video. I hope this training was free. The only thing missing was the Safety Circle. PS- I dont think I would call [sights] crutches. I also heard when you run like a chicken with its head cut off you could lose your back up gun.

  • Until you've spent 12 years as a firearms instructor, and can say your are a Sheriff Sergeant, then take the training provided in this course, you may wish to keep the silly comments to yourself. Try what you saw demonstrated in the video and see how well you do using your sights while moving like that.

  • Well, I'll admit the running around part is a little uncoordinated in appearance, and probably is not how he, I, or anyone else would move in a gun battle. However, this was an excersize in getting rounds on target while moving. The course was not intended to teach anyone how the should move, but to learn how to shoot while moving. As for him looking at the gun, I did notice he looks down to reload. We didn't focus too much on reloads in the course, so that is something to examine and fix.

  • Could you please let us know what jurisdiction "Sgt443" works in. Simply so I do not locate my family family in an area where the Officers are dumb enough to believe and/or train in such a method. This video is like a train wreck...you don't want to watch it, but you just have to keep loking.

  • I'm not familiar with the "quick kill" technique, but this video is quite hilarious. This is simply point shooting, but with a flare of comedy by the addition of the goofy running and arm flailing by the shooter. Time in grade, specific certifications, or rank don't mean a thing in a gunfight. By the way, a little hint...if you are going to note how the shooter doesn't look at his gun, make sure the next scene isn't him looking down at his gun.

  • I can't say that I'm either, but I can say that I'm a SWAT operator and Deputy Sheriff for the last 12 years and have been in several gun battles. I don't think I would ever move like that especially while firing a gun, but to each his own.

  • I don't know...I think he needs to spend some time with me.

  • Run and gun using the Handgun or Pistol Quick Kill [ QK ] Shooting Technique © seems to be very effective. Seems the Sgt has learned to run his gun without the crutches [ sights ] very well in just a day of training.

I own the registered copyright to this skill [ Handgun or Pistol Quick Kill [ QK ] Shooting Technique © ] and train others in the use of this skill all over the country.
