i love your vids. I've just recently tried to start improving my chess game and have taken a huge interest in it. all your videos are super helpful and i watch them every time you post them. Do you think yahoo chess is a bad place to play practice games and learn a little for myself?

Its funny how, in centuries past like with Maelzel's Chess Player you had these chess "machines" secretly operated by small people hiding within the cumbersome devices interior beating most human opponents by humans making moves for machine, whereas nowadays on the internet you have machines making moves for humans?

@ollie705 Do you think a 2400 rated player would just shuffle about like that, doing nothing despite running low on time? Even a lowly rated player will make some active moves to open up the position if he's low on time.

@padperson You obviously haven't had points taken away from you by an engine using 1200. Cheating should not treated kindly.
