Golden Retrievers SAVED -Lance Wheeler Video

Three of the 20 Golden Retrievers puppies begin recovery from starvation at the Columbia Greene Humane Society SPCA outside Hudson, New York.

On February 8, CGHS/SPCA Investigators along with the Greene County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at 580 Sutton Hollow Road in Ashland, NY. Ashland Dog Control Officer Bruce Feml alerted CGHS/SPCA that a large number of young dogs and puppies that looked like "walking skeletons" were being held in a small mobile home. Upon investigation, CGHS/SPCA Investigators found twenty Golden Retriever puppies and dogs ranging from two to ten months of age.

All puppies were removed and examined by Dr. Jerry Bilinski, DVM of Chathams Small Animal Hospital and Dr. Danielle Sand, VMD. All puppies were found to be emaciated, some puppies weighing as few as eleven pounds. "We caught these puppies just in the nick of time. Had this gone on for another week, I'm certain some of the younger pups would have succumbed to starvation," said Ron Perez, President/Investigator of CGHS/SPCA.

No one, not either of these beautiful people is saying there were not too many dogs, they just got hit by winter before they could find loving homes..! Again nobody was less interested in profit for dogs than these two, they let them go for as little as $1-200 dollars just cover the regular Vet Bills and food etc..! Why is Ron Perez so intent upon lying...Is SPCA trafficing Dogs, where are the missing females trafficed out of state..? These dogs by law still belong to this couple!

Many are also unaware there is a KKK contingent in Tannersville and the Ashland area..! Or that the dog warden there burst into this small trailer with a rifle..! Then fell down and it could have gone off killing any of those inside including these SPCA lying dogs thieves, or the dogs they intended to steal, or that she had just come home from the hospital from a thyroid operation and had her neck wrapped unable to speak normally..! These dogs are beautiful because they are loved not abused!

I understand that many who do not have the facts accept these lies and misrepresentations by these abusive officials as reality and do not trust their own eyes.. Where are the "walking skeletons?" Why did a Vet 2 days before not say anything similar..? Why didn't they tell you there are 2 trailers one just for these dogs they love so dearly or 3 1/2 acres for them to run and play on, or that the refrigerator was full of Food, the woman cooked for them regularly..?

It's funny, the same person keeps posting negative comments about the animal control officer and SPCA personnel on here...Catskill Animal Hospital works very closely with the people who saved these puppies. They may not totally agree with your personal opinion of the dog warden and SPCA personnel. We live in a wonderful place where everyone is entitled to their opinion...Maybe everyone should reconsider the words they choose when lashing out at others...God Bless these puppies...

Yes I know them, they are 2 Trailers on the property one just for the dogs but due to the deep deep snow iced over hard to move them from one to the other and that 2nd trailer has a 12 foot fence around it plus 3 1/2 acres of open field they own dedicated to these beautiful dogs they love...The Dog warden is hard core racist redneck who burst in there with a rifle, also they had been to the Catskill Animal hospital 2 days before the youngest puppies he did not call these low life dogs thieves!

These beautiful dogs were stolen by SPCA and a Racist Dog Warden in Ashland under completely false pretense and misrepresentation...had it not been the dead of winter with terrible ice and frozen snow conditions they would not have been cooped up..This was a terrible evil racist miscarriage of justice and any decency...They are all dearly loved and cared for, and had just been to the Vet 2 days before they were stolen by these lying corrupt jerks..!
