  • I'm of Caribbean-Chinese heritage and carry a hakka surname aswell, but mines is far less common than Chin or even Lee. I'm pretty sure if you're from the islands it is easy to guess wha it is! :)

  • @CatMingDu I don't know Chan, Chung, Lee Chin? Michael Lee Chin is Jamaican Black Chinese and a billionaire! Our people always make a mark in the world.

  • Can they speak Mandarin?

  • @sheltv100 I don't know

  • who's jamaican chinese?

  • Both videos have Jamaican Chinese singers. Tami Chyn and Tessanne Chin are Jamaicans of Chinese decent; we are not all Blacks of African decent.

  • @Jamaicandiaspora they are mixed wit chinese and cherokee indian and white as well not only chinese ok

  • I always thought these were black women. My dad always use toplay these and I always thought that. Wow.. They are good

  • @sheltv100 Hakka Chinese or Kejia in Mandarin. Different dialect

  • @PrncssSph Tami chynn father is chinese Jamaica and mother is half black and half white

  • @sheltv100 i'm sure langauge is an issue also. just because of a religion they wudnt socialize with the larger community? Here in trinidad they get tonnes of help from the local Chinese-Trinidadians..they get homes, jobs etc from them.

  • @xplosivelilly The Chinese immigrants that recently arrived in Jamaica (or Trinidad) usually stick by themselves not just because of language barriers, but because of the philosophy of Confucianism. The 5th generation Chinese in the Caribbean are mostly Christianized and assimilated into the culture. They have long ago abandoned Confucianism.
