4/8/2010 at my uncle Sam Swareys funeral vistitation in Guthrie,Kentucky the amish girls and youth sang this song "brother dear never fear,we will triumgh at last" a very fitting song for the tragic occasion

@anastaisa100 I only heard rock once, and I hate it. I have a few months till I have to go back to my Amish ways. A "rumskippa" is when Amish teenagers get to see other peoples world. Most villiages don't advise it, but my mother let me!

Oh yes I am Sure! The Amish use nothing but plain colors,the womens head coverings have their own distinct design and material type,The Amish mens plain coat has hooks and eyes,no buttons and no zippers are allowed,the Zwartentruber Amish are even stricter. I dont know any that do not shun photography including these.I was taught to believe pictures were considered idols and therefore a scriptural offense.

Yes they do,I am so sorry to hear about the Sam Mullet hate crime case in Ohio,he does not represent anything but his selfish interest! The Amish are taught,nonresistance and nonconformity from childhood up,some days I think I should go back to them! The world is just PLAIN BRUTAL!
