  • @raenorri - I totally agree with you! I was raging mad when he came home w/the bruise on the face & scatches on his arm from the principal. They had no idea how to handle a child like him. The principal was over 300 lbs. & he took my son to the ground & sat on him while he held his arms behind his back to restrain him. (They are not allowed to do that in public school.) Your son is adorable too! I noticed he loves numbers like my boy does! Make sure you get a good IEP when he goes to school!

  • I wish you all the luck in the world!

  • Beautiful video! I wish you lived nearby so that our (very similar) boys could talk video games all day long! All the best to you!

  • Your son was diagnosed at such an early age. I was diagnosed at 7.5 years, and I'll tell you this much -- most of grade school was hell for me.

My elder brother, who died in February 2000, had those same issues, but medical pros were not observant enough to watch for suicidal signs, and look what happened. He left us. But I remember my brother as a talented bassist and a socially-inclined chap.

  • Hello, I'm glad your son has been diagnosed early. I am 13 and only just been diagnosed. My school life is very diffucult do lots of things it said in the video. It is really hard to do most things without me getting stressed. My principle scratched me and i still have the scar. i didn't eat until I was about 4 I started when I saw my sister eating and I copied her good luck for your son.

  • I just sat and watched this with my 9 year old son who has Apergers and ADHD (I'm now thin he may have IEP too.) and wanted to thank you for making this video, I hope more people watch it. My son spent the duration of the film saying "Mum thats just like me, I do that!" and "I know what that feels like." SO many similarities that you could have made a video about my kid. Change the name and the face and we could be talking about the same person.

  • I love to go through and watch the videos about aspie's because it helps me to understand my son a little better and gives me hope for the future. My son is 10 and we have fought long and hard to get him diagnosed correctly. He is a wonderful little boy, very much like your son. Thank you for the video and may God bless you and your family.

  • @Drunkensailor213 They are like little scientist, seeing the world very objective way.

  • Hey mommy, you just gotta smoke a little weed and youre mind expands to see the world like he's. I did that with my asperger boyfriend and it helped a lot!
