The PIC microcontroller is quite popular in industrial and hobbyist, some of the newest 8-bit midrange Microchip PIC microcontroller with nanoWatt technology is PIC16F690, this 20 pin microcontroller has a build in peripherals such as ADC, UART, PWM, I2C, analog comparator and with 7KBytes program memory flash. • The "Introduction to the Microchip PIC C Programming" blog website actually explained of how to start using the Microchip MPLAB IDE with the HITEC PICC-Lite C compiler, debugging, compiling and download the C code to the PIC16F699 microcontroller board. It used pictures as well as the embed video (at the end of article) to explain the whole process, so the blog readers could get an idea of how it really works. Some of this video viewer actually come directly from the blog website.

  • This video is part of the Introduction to the PIC microcontroller project for newbie and is not intended as the tutorial video. For detail information and more projects you could visit the website address shown on the video.

  • @nzantsfield Respect for what he has achieved doesn't change the fact that THIS video is 2 lights blinking. It serves no purpose other than to waste peoples time who are looking for helpful information on YouTube. Most YouTubers dislike videos that are presented only to draw them to another website, no matter how worthy.

  • @breezebro Windshield wipers on a truck have a switch that turns them on - on a microprocessor you need to "program" it to do everything. Did you build the computer that you are typing on ?? Have you ever programed it ?? Did you make your truck, and it's windshield wipers ?

Are you picking up what i'm putting down ?

I've spend weeks learning about PIC's, I'm busy developing a product that has never in the world been made before.

I have respect for what ermicroinfo has achieved.

  • @nzantsfield I've got a video tutorial of the windshield wipers on my truck going back and forth. You want me to upload it for you?

No voice explaining anything about a tutorial to come.

It's just a pathetic attempt to use YouTube to get people to his website.

As of now 26 people agree with me and it's got 91 dislikes.....

Because this IS A WORTHLESS VIDEO!!!

  • @breezebro Take it back punk, what have you ever done to be such an authority on PIC programming ?? In the beginning getting a LED to flash is a big achievement !

Putting up a nice tutorial like this man has done is a kind and nobel thing to do, it's called "helping people" Google it and you might learn something !

  • @breezebro Read the Description Dumb ass. go to the Blog, Read. Then Criticize!!!!!!!

  • Wow! Totally amazing!

Just imagine - in the future we will have 2 leds flashing. It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it.

  • that sure was brief...

  • HOLLY CRAP IT JUST BLINKED!!
