Happy 65th Birthday to the great Lee Oskar today! He is the original harmonica player for WAR. He still performs this song and all WAR songs with three original WAR bandmates in this video, but they are called the LOWRIDER BAND today because of BS WAR name legalities, but they ARE still WAR to diehard WAR fans.

Although they may have sounded good, that wasn't really WAR that you saw. That was the band that is owned by WAR's former producer, who took the WAR name from all five surviving WAR members over 16 years ago. One sided with this producer because they know it's the WAR name that sells crowds and brings in the money. The remaining four did not want to be owned, so they call themselves the LOWRIDER BAND now. Diehard WAR fans know the LOWRIDER BAND is the REAL WAR band, WAR name or not. Peace.

Saw them in 2010 outdoor venue, they sounded exactly the same, and the vibe was tight, the crowd was hype, it brought back a lot of memories of when I was 16. Yeah!
