  • I finished reading this book a few weks ago and it was awesome. THough most of it took place outside of boston, but it was still fun to see Patrick and Angie again. It was nice to see Amanda again and it's nice to see how different she turned out. She is brigh and intelligent, and when you finish the book she will surprise you. If a movie is ever made about this book it would need some changes. It really good but i was hoping for the same emotions that were in GOne Baby Gone. But still awesome.

  • I think that probably wasn't even Denis Lehane's idea to shoot in Allston/Brighton. Maybe the fil crew was scared or cheap BU kids. I like to add that i use to go to high school in Brighton, which mostly had inner city kids, and i use to take a long trip from Eastie all the way to Warren Street on B train. What was interesting was seeing the college kids and inner-city high school kids riding the same bus and train. same yet different. I consider the Brighton Allston area kinda like our Queens.

  • I agree with the last comment. Really weird how much of not Dorchester is in this video. The Allston cuts are particularly weird, because at least the Downtown area has a connection to Dorchester. Dot folks don't go to Allston for anything.

  • Come on. A video about Dorchester full of scenes from Allston. For those of you who don't know, Dennis Lehane is not from a neighborhood full of college kids on skateboards carrying kegs around.
