Lifebuoy was planning at relaunching the brand with the tagline of
"Healthy Hoga Hindustaan".

Thus, Lifebuoy conducted a poll amongst the mothers of children between
the age group of 4 -12 years to understand what health of a child means to
them in terms of Mental, Physical and Social. Also what according to them
are rated as factors (internal and external) that are influencing these 3 aspects
of children's health? This survey was conducted in 17 state capitals and
threw light on what mothers of these cities think their city has or does not
have for the overall good health of a child.

The Child Health Quotient was released on March 25, 2009 in Mumbai and
via video conference to the press in other cities. 5 main factors were found to
be of prime influence

Internal factors (those that are controlled by the child/mother):
# Hygiene
# Nutrition -- quality of food

External factors (those that are controlled by public/civic authorities
and government bodies)
# Clean drinking water
# Cleanliness of surrounding
# Quality of Education
As part of their initiative to make health & hygiene accessible to all, Lifebuoy
proposed to have a signature campaign to mark the protest to local
authorities and to pledge towards a healthier people. On the occasion of
World Health Day, Lifebuoy started a crusade for health with its 'Banaye
Healthy Hindustan' campaign.

In Delhi it was held at India Gate & in Mumbai it took place at Gateway of India.

Thousands of school children, between the age group of 6 and 12 years signed an appeal to health experts and authorities, to take care of their health concerns.

A mural, designed especially for the event, which show cased the issues related to children's health, as per the Child Health Quotient Report was unveiled as part of the campaign.
