This is an effect that was made buy MEHMagic (Tyler West). What the effect is that the card case has an X drawn on the back. So the Spectator selects a card then the magician put's the deck into the case and throws the box in the air and the X has vanished the magician shows the deck and the X has magically appeared on the back. The Spectator can now examine the deck.
