These are some song birds that I have filmed at my bird feeder. In my front yard I used black sun flower seeds and a lot of birds seem to like that. The day that the gold finches showed there were about eight that were swarming. It was soooo cool! I will have another movie similar to this up pretty soon with a more extensive array of species. Also enjoy my start up clip!

No, it was the female goldfinch I just blanked for a second and hen commented that I knew what it was. Thanks though. LOL, it'd be sad if I didn't know the Chickadee, as it is the state bird :) Ironically, I moved here from NJ, the Goldfinch is the state bird of NJ.

those are chickadees ,there small with a black cap and black neck ,there all over north america ....

the olive color ones are the female golden finch ,,also the nj state bird

Thanks a lot! And yes, they are american gold finches. The drabber ones are either females or imm. males.
