Wall street is rigged for the banks and the corrupt, greedy, and lazy in America. It generates only phantom wealth which ends up as debt for the rest of us.
Yes, it hurts savings! So people then spend, hence put money into the market. I disagree that an unadultered market will keep money in motion. Proof from the middle ages where kings kept peasants poor by amassing great fortunes. It happens now too, but those families are soo wealthy that you will not hear of them on news (when was the last time you heard a Mars, Rockefeller, Brough, Gates,-- Hilton wants to be on the news, and juxtaposed is not very rich.)
Inflating currency devalues everyone's savings. The elderly on fixed income and working class savings hurt the most. It is a hidden tax. The unadulterated free market will keep money in motion without the Federal Reserves tyrannical corruption.

Inflating currency actually HELPS the economy by making people spend their money rather than save. It keeps the money in motion.
