if you can i would tell to always dry your i use a hooded dryer keeps the mildew away and try isoplus lock and twist cream great hold and sheen and the style last with no frizz good work

@lustsmith oh my this vid is over 2 yrs old.... i am about to be on my 4th year with locs... but is till belive the dryer is the devil.... i avoid heat where i can

Question: why did you put aluminum foil at the tips of your locs? Also if you mix the ecco olive oil gel with some Nature's Blessing pomade it works wonders together and you'd made your own pomade..

@Tamarje81 i have purple tips under those pieces of foil so i didnt want the dye to get on them

hey barbaydian when starting twist can u rinse ur hair everyday and air dry them then retwist plz reply thk u cutie..

@earthsong1000 that is a MAJOR NO NO....you def dont want to wet them like that on a daily basis when u are starting... they will tend not to take to the twist which will make it harder for your hair to loc...i couldnt submerge my hair for 5 months when i started.... that is how long it took my hair to fully loc.... and as for retwisting you dont want to do it tooooo often because it will weaken the shaft of the loc and cause it to look thin and prone to breaking off... def dont want that
