If you count when Russia entered the hockey world then you would know Russia has more gold and more medals than Canada. Russia entered the hockey world i believe in 1954. Canada was in the international competition since the early 1920s.

hey, I'm back again.. soo look what happened in the olympics.. hmm .. let's think back to when CANADA was playing RUSSIA. Ovechkin did shit.. he had nothing in that game, and I know Crosby didn't either, but he made up for it in the FINAL game against USA! so suck on that.. he scored the winning goal, and got Canada another gold medal. ps, did I mention we had the most gold medals and also we broke the all time record for gold medals, yeah. that's what I thought. so go Canada.
