  • I Think Should There Ever Be A Movie Based On Flo's Life, Faith Evans Should Portray Her, Because They Look Just Alike!!!!!\

  • FYI - Mr. Gordy's first name is spelled "Berry", not "Barry"

  • @GGE47

    Yes, indeed!

    What a coincidence, eh?:)

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 The Supremes(THE SUPREMES) sang Our Day Will Come on one oftheir albums with Mary singing the lead. She sang beautifully.Flo and Diane sang back up beautifully, too.

  • @GGE47

Point taken, but, according to Wiki, for what it's worth:

"Ruby Nash, the female lead of the group, originally sang with an all-girl group, consisting of her sister and two friends. They sang at record hops, mixers, talent shows and clubs in Akron and surrounding areas. Some of the male members of the Romantics sang with The Embers. Eventually, The Embers became known as The Supremes, & then The Feilos."

Date-wise, Ruby may be first, but, not by much.

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 i am aware that The Romantics used to be called The Supremes, but I think The Supremes, the female group, were first and that's why they changed it to Ruby and the Romantics. Our Day Will Come was their only big hit in 1963.Florence picked that name in January,1961.
