  • One of the best songs ever written mixed with one of the best trilogy ever made = great video. 5 stars and then some

  • You don't understand what the ring does to a man.

Frodo is the opposite of a loser to be honest.

  • Wierd to think the last LOTR movie came out almost 10 years ago now. I know there is going to be 'The Hobbit' coming up within next couple of years (directed by Peter Jackson) so I am really hoping it is as good as the trilogy.

  • @Tactics1337 i am not arguing, but that is the whole point, that you cant do it alone.Especially when you are under its power.Frodo is the greatest of hobbits and Sam is too great to be a hobbit, not araggon, not Gandalf and not even the high elves could have done it.they would not have gone even till Mount Doom.they would have yielded to the temptation within days

  • The 1-ring just suggest that the 1000 year period before those rings where created a lot of other inferior rings must have created for different purposes. And where are those, rusted away, melted, corroded ?.

  • Lovely vid! With regard to earlier comments: Tolkien devotes a lot of space in his letters to the question of whether Frodo was a failure or not. As far as he is concerned, no individual could have had the strength to destroy the Ring at the place of its making. Providence had to take over. According to Tolkien no other person could have taken the Ring as far as Frodo did.

  • I agree, Frodo was weak-but that only reinforces Tolkien's idea that everybody had a part to play-that what was meant for evil turned out for good (Gollum)

  • Good video, superb, but Frodo was a loser. I couldn't believe he gained all the credit for throwing the ring over when he probably never told the fellowship of what really occurred. That he was too weak to throw the ring in and have it destroyed, that Gollum actually had to for him, of course unwillingly to them both. Samwise the brave is the true hero, he fought Gollum and spared time in hopes that Frodo would be strong enough to throw the ring in.

  • soooo coool!
