  • Rossman is a forgotten champion from an era of great fighters. His career never really blossomed, but for this one night he was without question the best LH in the world.

  • Still, the perfect fight by Michael!

  • . . . Mike Rossman is a total jackoff . . . THE END

  • I still get chills watching the 13th round.

Notice the first person Michaels hugs is Slim Jim Robinson.

He deserves so much credit for perfecting the fight plan that lead Michael

    to the 175lb title.

Very underrated trainer and great person.

  • Michael blamed everyone except himself at the end of his career, including

his "father" & Slim Jim Robinson, who went on to success with Eddie Mustafa.

The loss to Ronquello & Yaqui Lopez, & Galindez rematch was Mike's fault.

He shoulda' demo'd Ronquello, TKO'd Lopez, and after the Traversaro fight, had

Russell Peltz negotiate for Rossman/Ali, and forgotten about Galindez II (loss).

Michael told himself he would never be knocked down or out, Capuano I

    showed something was already wrong.

  • Been a bunch of Jewish fighters, most changed the names to avoid

parents realizing who they really were.

Max Baer was not Jewish, promotional tactic to build gate against the faded

    (still GREAT) Max Schmeling.

Goldstein, Atell, Leonard, Sabdiel (Jab) Judah, Ross,Rosenblatt,Foreman (Yuri),

along with Rossman were the more known of many, including Bobby Halpern.

These things run in cycles, look at today's fighters, less black fighters, more

    european fighters.

After Michael lost the title, finally retiring shortly after the Capuano fights and the KO by Braxton (Qawi),

he allowed an interview with KO magazine, I used to keep the article on my wall, (I forget the writer).

I wanted to follow in his shoes, sadly, he wrote (when reminded how Jewish folks supported him),

"F___ the jews, what did they do for me, make me any money??"

This after people like a young Steve Farhood (non-jew) at RIng "blessed" every move!

    Mike showed true colors.

  • @mrjoshjones1

What are you refering to "talk smack about your Jewish brethren"?

  • Yeah, I forgot that Bogner was a Jew.

  • @bodypro8 Abe Attell, I think; Barney Ross was Jewish. Max Baer (half Jewish, I think, Jewish father); Kenny Bang Bang Bogner, lightweight in the '80s. And the new guy, Dimitri, from Ukraine, welterweight. Art Lasky, heavyweight in the 1930s.
