This rare 1948 Pontiac Silver 8 Streak was on display at the 2008 Cleveland Auto Spectacular near Brisbane Q.L.D. Australia. I love this car for many reasons and it is in close to original condition.
I have many other Vids that I have taken over the years so if you would like to see some more LET ME KNOW !!

  • You got yourself a nice bomb there. Very cool.

  • I must state that this is not a car that I own unfortunately but I was lucky enough to have seen it at a local car show. Thanks for your comment and also the link to your car site. Very interesting.

  • The higher gods have deleted the original music for this clip. I had Neil Youngs Vampire Blues which really suited the clip.

Now I have a different music track free from YouTube which I had to hunt for.

I hope that you like the new sound.

  • I saw a new movie called LOST BOYS 2 - The Tribe. They have used a Silver Streak in that and it is one of the head Vampire cars. I wonder if they got the idea from seeing this vid ? Makes you think.

  • i have a 48 pontiac 2 :D

  • Saw your Silver Streak 2Stroke. Love the idea of 4X4 as I was going to do the same with one of my old bombs. Your Pontiac 2 door is a rare car so be care full not to hack up the body as you will reduce her value. Let us know how it is all coming together for you. Keep us posted.... Cheers .. Dan

  • Great car Dan! I love the old Pontiacs, especially the ones with the lighted hood ornament.

  • I don't see a typo. That is what my script said on the side.

  • Nice post -

  • yhea i like the fact that it is 2 door,

I was going to pop a 350 in it.

But it has a torque tube rear end and i'd have to change motor mounts ect.... which means i would have to change the rear end and put on a driveshaft.

So i was going to put a 2 wheel drive truck frame with a 350 allready in it.

but i thought while i was at it,i myze whell make it 4X4 ,lol

i'll post another vid when i get more done to it
