Regular caller Dan I Balyeat warns El Rushbo that Mitt Romney's left-of-center record as Massachusetts governor is unacceptable to most conservative voters. Note: This call took place in 2008 but Balyeat was apparently ahead of his time. Now almost every pundit agrees that Romney's liberal record (including his anti-gun, pro-abortion and pro-gay policies) should preclude him from getting the 2012 Republican nomination.

  • The GOP is in big trouble. At the same time that the Republican Establishment is propping up liberal phony Mitt Romney (the most unprincipled politician I have ever witnessed), they are also throwing Rush under the bus. One of the most important voices in political discourse is being attacked by fellow "Conservatives" for telling the truth about some moronic law student who expects taxpayers to buy contraceptives in support of her promiscuous lifestyle. I support Rush 100% on this issue

  • Newt obliterated Romney in the debate tonight

  • Rush never openly endorses in primary season, but in this cycle it is the closest he has ever been to doing so. He constantly compliments Rick Perry. If you've been listening for the past several weeks, you would know he is on his side. Rush seems to be losing it in more ways than one.

  • @ultraback29 Rush has been very critical of Romney... to his credit. He is standing with the 70% of Republicans who are completely opposed to Romney. If Romney gets the nomination he will be the most liberal candidate that the GOP has ever nominated.

  • @robertparker1982 Without a doubt. He will find near ZERO support from conservative voters in November.I'm predicting an obama landslide

  • @12CeeSee I agree. If Romney is the nominee, we are going to get four more years of Obama. And we should keep track of all the phony RINOS who are pushing Romney right now. When we lose in November they will have a lot of explaining to do.

  • Romney was liberal on every issue when he was Governor of Massachusetts. He was liberal on fiscal/ economic issues (RomneyCare, Cap and Trade etc) and liberal on social issues (abortion, gun control etc). How can we vote for a guy who made the liberal dream program with RomneyCare's taxpayer funded abortions....the perfect marriage of socialism and liberal disregard for life.

  • Well unles we fight HARDER. Romeny will be the n3ext President. Tell you what. Obama people fight. Santorum people fight. Then we can have Santorum and Obama in the finals. SOund GOod? For the Obama people it should seem easier to win. For us we will simply have Faith that God will put a true Christian in the WHite House. Lets get to work.

  • RAWN PAWL!!!!!!!

  • Rush wants to back a winner, and he just doesn't see one amongst this pack of clowns duking it out for the nomination. This just isn't a good year for Republicans.

  • Santorum's surge puts Romney in his rear as Rick jumps on top of the poll. Now Romney is pounding on Santorum, trying to come from behind. Santorum remains rigid on his homosexual positions, insisting he will beat off Romney and take it all in the end. Romney stands firm, vowing to lick Santorum. Pundits agree that it will be hard for Santorum to overcome Romney's huge wad.
