www.aajewelry.com - This is a step-by-step instructional video explaining the proper procedure of creating a channel set. It also informs the audience of the tools used in this project.

Channel set is a the type of setting where a stones are placed in suspension between two strips of metal. Each stone is to have a dedicated notch for its place on the strip of metal. Some setter may just form a groove along the whole strip and slide the stones along (This is a cheaper and less time-consuming method).

There is a variation of this called a "bar set" which calls for bars to be placed between each stone.
