Is it a lack of parking/commercial parking that causes these drivers to double-park? Maybe if more commercial parking was available...or if the individual drivers being punished (as opposed to it being deferred to the company), the problem might be resolved.

It is to bad You cant legalaly set the vehical on fire.

Here in Tokyo they have smoking police. IF they catch you smoking while walking down the street as opposed to using designated smoking areas then you get a fine.

I will bet you mist one the one and only United States Post Office. Of course the cops may have just looked the other way.

I can't stand double parkers either. Cars should be towed for that. But I also know there is nowhere to park in San Francisco for residential delivery, so what are delivery people suppose to do?
As he said, it's the cost of doing business, and they absorb it. If they could redesign the city from scratch, they'd have wider steets, and UPS & FEDEX dropoff zones in a fantasy world.
