Steroids don't give you the ability to walk 2,558 times. Steroids don't give you the ability to be a eight-time gold glover, or steal 514 bases. Bonds was a HoFer before he did roids, and is easily the greatest player I have saw in my 20-years on this earth. I only wish he could of broke Hank Aaron's record cleanly and didn't scar his reputation as bad as he did by taking roids.

The best part about Barry... is that he didn't let the media treat him poorly. He basically gave the media a big "fuck you" his whole career and that's something I respect. They treated his Dad poorly and they came at him with no respect... and he never backed off.

Barry is the freaking man. Best... Ever...

@phillyfanatic25 look at the list of steroids users. you need more than muscles to hit a ball the way he did. in fact, muscles hardly help in the least if you knew anything about baseball. studies had been done that suggest steroids add less than eight additional feet to a homerun ball, and everybody knows a majority of barry's balls went a lot further than eight feet over the fence. you're in the group of people that blindly reads that he took steroids, and assumes that that negates his records

@mothahen123 The best seasons (45+ homeruns) was during/after Bonds was accused of doing steroids. He got big muscles unusually fast, as well as other physical signs. He's not a power-lifter or a bodybuilder; he's a performance-enhancing drug junkie. Players and former teammates have testified against him, he's been called out many times, and nobody likes or respects him. Stop kissing Bond's butt and look at the evidence.

@JustinVerlander35 Aaron who grew up in the jim crow south and was not the son of a pro athlete IS a man of integrity and honor and not a sorry human being. Well see how great roids era Bonds is when his health deteriorates and the steroid use catches up to him in his later years; and Bonds would have never broken Aaron's record, let alone crossed 550, had it not been for the juice. You might as well deny O.j. Simpson's guilt! How sad to admire this dishonorable man.

If you hit extra base hits at an unreal level, than indirectly they do; managers and pitchers know this. Compare his walk stats with the Pirates and his walk stats on roids and how do they match?
