THE DREAMACHINE EXHIBITION at CABARET VOLTAIRE Documentary Trailer

Cabaret Voltaire, the home of Da Da since 1916 has set up a Beauty Center in celebration of the Dreamachine. We are welcomed by proprietor Adrian Notz and move on to the auditorium wherein readings by Dr. David Woodard, renowned Swiss author Christian Kracht and Ma Anand Sheela Birnsteil are done. The tour of the exhibition commenses.

In the ante chamber Dr. Woodard instructs in the use of the machine from a monitor looking remarkably like Criswell introning his Predictions in 1950s America. Next we follow the pink arrows to the Chamber of The Dreamchine itself. There one can sit with eyes closed and experience The Dreamachine itself in all its firey glow and incandescent darkness.

The pink arrows lead us to the Aes-Nihil Chamber dedicated to the upcoming documentary William S. Burroughs in the Dreamachine by American filmmaker / doumentarian / photographer / archivist John Aes-Nihil of The Archives of Aesthetic-Nihilism. A preview of the documentary is playing on the monitor whilst stills of Burroughs, Ginsberg and Dr. Woodard are showcased.

Next we enter the Chamber of Ma Anand Sheela Birnsteil formerly of Bhagwan Rajnesh today teaching aesthetics thru the Arts to her unique people in a neighboring town in Switzerland. The students are seen on the monitor creating works of art which can be viewed on the walls. These works were inspired by the students use of The Dreamachine brought to Ma Sheela's attention by Dr. Woodard.
