  • thumbs up if you got here from Swell Maps but found some brit indiepop stuff you'd never heard of before but liked it anyway! :)

Hi Matt - Andy 7% here - Dave Ware's brother. I've got the master's for the Coloursound Album - let me know if you think the Cherry Red idea is a goer .... JFOE - great weren't they!?

  • @matthotspur That would be good news indeed. I will speak to Dave and see what he knows about it! Also Nigel, who owned 7% Records.

  • @vermillion303 i dont know if you have a facebook... but if you do get to me at Tyler Paul, probably easier to chat that way

  • @vermillion303 im in rhode island

  • Dave is an ardent supporter of Salisbury City Football Club, and works for South West Trains, I think. Jim lives in Whiteparish, I still see the guitarist around in Salisbury, but the others all moved to Bristol.

  • @matthotspur Oh yes, one of Salisbury's best bands! We have had our musical moments in Salisbury, historically. Jane From Occupied Europe disbanded after they released their first album, Coloursound, in around 1991. Dave and Jim still keep in contact and may do musical things privately, but they don't gig or release records, to my knowledge.

  • @dunkinking Will ask Dave Todd and get back to you. Whereabouts in the USA are you? The single itself probably wouldn't cost that much but the shipping might :(
