I discovered Petr Muk when I heard his wonderful rendition of Oh L'Amour by Erasure. I have become a bit of a fan since then. His music ranges from radio-friendly pop, to New Wave / Goth, to ballads, but every song, no matter what the genre, becomes infused with his beautifully expressive voice, which goes from smooth, to nasal, to crooning, whispering, and sometimes into a soaring falsetto. Sadly, this very talented singer died last year, much too young. This track was always one of my favourites by him. The original sounds a bit like Iceblink Luck by the Cocteau Twins. In my version, I tried to give the song a more in-your-face drama, and I wanted to bring out the beautifully simple melody and chord scheme even more. Enjoy! Make sure to check out his other material on Youtube, or buy his Best Of ... on i-Tunes.
note: this is a re-upload. I have made a few small corrections to my mix and decided to swap the old one for the new one.
Or by the way could you tell me the back beat for this is

I programmed the new backing track myself. A lot of what you hear was also in the original version (the official music video is also on YouTube). I don't think I will be doing an extended version of my mix anytime soon, although I do love the song.

I can't hear the changes you made but this truly is a gem of a production! BEAUTIFUL!!!! His voice blends flawlessly over your choice of synth sounds!!! SWEET!

Thank you very much! I sped it up, beefed it up, added the guitar break and made it longer. ( The original is also on YouTube, if you want to compare :) )
