I wondering if with that character "The Schemer" is a real reference to the real Vincent Drucci also known as "The Schemer" (1898 - April 4, 1927) was a Chicago mobster during Chicago's Prohibition era who served as a lieutenant under Dean O'Banion's North Side Gang and later as gang boss. Drucci was one of the few mobsters to ever be killed
by a law enforcement officer.

@usmctanks1 I have read his BIO its fantastic do you remeber when he had to dash behind a wall then a machine gunner peppered the corner of the wall where he was and he says if he was any slower when he ran he would have been dead and thats what makes James Cagney a acting god he put his life on the line every film

So true..... the films out these days our pure crap. James was really one of the best. From tough guy in public enemy to singing and dancing in yankee doodle dandy. Both roles he did were magnificant.
