I think Sw1 and SW3's versions of this theme were more fitting this one feels too lighthearted and not as dramatic as the other two and as Honnoji really was. Thats just my honest opinion though :/

@GoGoSentai You're right. Having not played the game for very long at the time of my previous post i was originally under the impression that he was in fact a female. Of course when Magoichi Saika (or Saika Magoichi depending on your preference) gets a 'Facepalm' moment after hitting on him, I had such a similar moment. No offense to you intended but I made the revelation you are pointing out quite some time ago.

@TheLynx10 You're wrong. Historically AND in Samurai warriors 1,2,and 3 hes a guy. Koei never opted to make him a girl, EVER.

The ONLY time they gave a historical/fictional character a sex change was Sanzang Fashi (Warriors Orochi 2/Z) who in Journey to the west was a guy, but Koei made the character a girl. Ranmaru is just designed to be very female-like. He gets teased about it A LOT.
