「全能者なる神、主は詔して、日の出るところから日の入るところまであまねく地に住む者を召し集められる。神は麗しさのきわみであるシオンから光を放たれる

われらの神は来て、もだされない。み前には焼きつくす火があり、そのまわりには、はげしい暴風がある」（詩篇50：1/3）。

「主はシオンから大声で叫び、エルサレムから声を出される。天も地もふるい動く。しかし主はその民の避け所、イスラエルの人々のとりでである」（ヨエル3：16）。

「その力があなたにあり、その心がシオンの大路にある人は幸いです」（詩篇84：5）。
