Let's Play Alisia Dragoon, Episode 04 of 11

I can hack out any problem I encounter on a Windows computer with relative ease.
I can make Linux do amazing things that would blow the minds of most computer users.
I hack out fun (albeit pointless) programs and design websites for the fun of it.
But yet, I cannot figure out how to work the stupid settings on this new microphone.

Was it a mistake getting the cheapest one ($8) from Wal-Mart? My guess, YES, it WAS.


ANYWAY, episode 4 of Alisia Dragoon is level 5. One of the longer levels with lots of tight places.

After doing a bit of thinking, most probably, Actraiser. I had completely forgotten about that game until I went digging through my old games collection.

There are quite a few videos of it on YouTube, but I don't see any actual LP's of it. I'm going to do a bit more research, but if there is no LP of it, I am definitely doing Actraiser.

I assume you're talking about the first one. I don't remember Actraiser 2 too well, but the first game is seared into my mind. The music for the entire game is pretty decent, but the song that plays during the overhead, "Angel" portions of the game plays through my head every few days.

I'm looking forward to the next LP, but I'm not saying to hurry through the Alisia Dragoon LPs!

Yes, Actraiser 1.

The second one was pretty bad, in comparison. For one, the sim levels were removed. Actraiser 2 is nothing but fighting, and in my opinion, the sim levels were what pushed the first game from being just another hack'n'slash action game to being a truly stellar game.

While the sims are not all that difficult, they still add an enjoyable element to the game.

this game was an early title of the genesis system and was one of the best games for it at least in top 20. In my opinion this game was underated.

at 0:29 sec if you blow that wall up"with a full force attack" you can ''hidden'' platform jump and get some goodies..... also at 0:44 sec... try it out

I haven't really thought of it.

Perhaps I should play Boogerman. It's a pretty decent game, and doesn't seem like it has been played yet 9at least, fully with commentary).

There are several of the first level, but few going on.

I've not really thought about going on, and never really intended to, to be honest.

(Of course, I could do something very odd and play Brandish or Ogre Battle ep.5).

Ha, point taken. My parents, who were both computer programmers, could never really ever look at one another in the eyes after working for a few hours.

Well, the designing of a MUD must have some other, nontechnical aspects. I'm just saying, people have to design plots and whatnot.

Or you could always LP Freecell. I don't think anyone's done that before.

But, you know, I think this all started out with me asking, "What's your next LP gonna be?"

Wow... Well, I'm not really sure that people would want to watch a person type code for ten minutes (I can't even stand watching it for one minute if I'm not doing the actual coding).

Programming is like bathing. Everybody does it their own way, and you really do NOT want to get involved in someone else's style.
