@mudafresh89 that's awful, I hope you're doing alright. Most of the time when a ferret loses it's companion it will literally die of a broken heart. You should consider getting yours a new companion, that will increase the chance of yours to overcome its depression. Lots of love from a fellow ferret lover!

it varies widely, generally its about 6-13 depending on how well they're treated, see ferrets are painfully susceptible to cancer and other illnesses, keep a happy, healthy, stress free ferret though and they can live a fairly long time.

@mudafresh89 Well I think perhaps it's because I got them from an orphanage, they were 'fixed' and had their shots.
Relatively cheap compared to pups. My female ferret is 1.5 year and my male ferret is around 8 months. Check out the vids on my page to see them.. xD

@mumoto oh well its not a lot ahah. Mine were fixed and descented tho.. idk about you? Its kind of expensive but it made me think about it even more and i dont regret getting them... even tho it made a big hole in my bank account haha :)

My ferrets used to play like this too, but the female died in january this year. now the other one is alone, unfortunately
