The question of the day is: How do I earn an honest income online? I know most of you are thinking there are so many supposed "opportunities" out there. How do I know the business I am considering provides a benefit to an audience who will pay me? RIGHT? That's what it comes down to of course.
When you are looking for an opportunity you should ask yourself the following questions:
- Will I have to compete against Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Centrum Vitamins, GNC and other national brands?
Does the product/service your potential business opportunity markets exist in stores? Is it available in multi-national chain stores?
Take for example an opportunity that markets liquid or gel vitamins. It used to be that almost all chain stores had only pill form vitamins. So an opportunity that marketed gel or liquid form vitamins seemed like a good way to go. In many cases it was. If you were the type of person who had a large target audience of daily vitamin takers available to you. I know a personal trainer and dietitian who is #1 in sales and has the largest team in her natural food supplement MLM company. However, if you don't already have a customer base in your target market you would FIRST have to convince your market that they need to take vitamins. Then you would have to educate them on why gel and liquid vitamins are better.
Sounds like the work of a nutritionist doesn't it? In my experience it becomes a convincing game. When you have to convince someone they need something from you you end up looking like a sales person with a pushy pitch. In the end you'll certainly get some sales however, you want customers who will stick around. Customers you convinced won't stick around. Period.
