The hell it did. Nissan retained most of the design since the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. Mitsubishi,on the other hand,got the design in late 2006-2007.

That is completely incorrect. The diffuser and exhaust are both aftermarket.

The diffuser on this GT-R moves much lower/closer to the ground than the usual diffuser, and the pipes, at the least, have new tips.
