Fun with squid! Feeding frenzy with Scorpion fish, Trigger fish, File fish.

This dive was number 2 on the same day I shot the Moray eel feeding clips. December 16, 2009. This is a reef dive with Dixie Divers. A scorpion fish, which has extremely poisonous spines, takes more than he can chew of the squid we are offering. A Trigger Fish and a beautiful iridescent File fish steal it from him. and then various other small fish all try to get into the act. Interesting footage and very colorful. It's amazing how much fun you can have on a dive with a bag of squid!

Dixie Divers runs the "Lady Go Diver" boat out of Boca Raton inlet, Florida. Their shop is in Deerfield Beach. I highly recommend their operation if you want some fun and interesting diving. We spent 3 weeks in Florida in November to December 2009 and did several dives with this group.
