lol! i stumbled upon you and you are cracking me up. I've spritzed shalimar and can see that she is a beautiful lady but for now she's someone else's beautiful lady. She's not quite my style at the moment. perhaps I'll "grow" into her.

but the original shalimar they sell now is not exactly like the old shalimar in the old bottle, i do think it smells different.,just like chanel no.5 it doesn't smell as it was...too bad !!

@KatiePuckrikSmells Oh, forgot to mention I was six when I swallowed the Shalimar. I was a mischevious child, and suffered for it.

@KatiePuckrikSmells I Bal de Versailles also, to replace L'heure Bleu. I connected it with a Cashmere sweater of black and tan horizontal stripes, short sleeves, that I wore with a Black scarf. So I could never wear it except with wool. Consequently I have perfume and an eau de toilette that are over 30 years old. Shalimar I accidentally swallowed and had my stomach pumped in Charleston, SC. Bad memories. I just keep my mouth shut whenever I am around it and excuse myself. Is this PTSD?
