I decided to film myself relocating the speedo and swapping the stock handlebar for a 28" drag bar.

Just type in "Nightster Drag Bar" to your Google search bar, and you can find lots of good info in HD forums, from great guys with awesome bikes who did this.

I just took all that info, and made it into a video. This is part 1 of 3. The rest will be uploaded by Sunday (10/2/10). I'm just waiting for my drag bar to get in.

I will have more info about the parts needed in the following vids.

  • Oh you are welcome!

  • @djcoolbelly It isnt a simple answer. It depends on different things. What airfilter u will be using, what pipes, the air quality where u will be riding (believe it or not, humidity and air density effect it)

A Harley tech. Told me that on my setup Screamin' Eagle intake and Short Shots, I could run it on the stock map.

Do the mods, then ride & see. If there is no backfire, an the bike responds well, try it for a while and check the plugs to see if it's working.

Pm me if u need more info

  • Hey, I appreciate it bro!

  • Geez!!!! Thank you so much for this posting bro! Cheers.

  • Nice video. You know you could cut the clamp where the speed sat and use that so your lights indigaters will be intergrated.

  • This more of a question. U said u have a Stage 1 upgrade and shots for pipes. Do u have a fuel pak / tuner / anything like that? If not how's ur bike running? I want to do same as u but keep hearing ' awwww u need a tuneer/fuel pak to use those pipes. '

Thanks for any feed bac bro.

  • What do you mean you cant rebuild a bike and hold the camera steady at the same time? HAHA....great video man. Thanks.

  • Dude HREAT WORK!!!!
